Iran confirms the impact of projectiles on two ships in the Strait of Hormuz for ignoring naval warnings
 – El diario andino

The Army of Iran announced this Wednesday that it has hit two ships with projectiles, one “Israeli-owned” with the flag of Liberia and another container ship, after ignoring the warnings of its naval force in the Strait of Hormuz, where it claimed to maintain “without carelessness” control.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) explained in a statement released by the IRNA agency that the ship ‘Express Room’, property of the “Zionist regime” (in reference to Israel), was attacked and detained in his position after ignoring orders.

The text adds that The container ship ‘Mayuree Naree’, whose nationality was not revealed, also came under Iranian fire for “illegally” insisting on passing through the strait. after receiving warnings from the IRGC navy.

As EFE was able to verify in international maritime navigation tracking applications, the ‘Mayuree Naree’, bound for India, flies the Thai flag and is currently in the Strait of Hormuz.

The Revolutionary Guard stressed in its note that the Strait of Hormuz remains under the “intelligent management” of its naval forces. and warned that “American aggressors and their partners do not have the right to transit” through the sea route.

Just today, the Iranian Army said in a statement that it had launched attacks with destructive drones against several targets in Israelincluding the Israeli military intelligence service ‘Aman’, Intelligence Unit 8200, a ‘Green Pine’ radar and the submarine command building at the naval base in the Mediterranean city of Haifa.

Iran assured this Wednesday that it will not allow “not even a liter of oil” to cross the Strait of Hormuz for the benefit of the United States, Israel or its partners.and that any ship linked to them will be a “legitimate target” for Tehran.

The situation in the strait – a strategic energy enclave, through which approximately 20% of the world’s oil and a large part of strategic minerals pass – has altered the international oil market after Iran’s Revolutionary Guard threatened to attack any ship that crossed it.

Today, a Greek-owned bulk carrier was hit by a projectile of unknown origin near the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf, according to Greece’s Naftemporiki newspaper.

The United States Central Command (Centcom) claimed last night to have destroyed «multiple Iranian warships» near the Strait of Hormuz, including 16 minelayer boats, as part of the attacks against the Persian country, which they accuse of having threatened «freedom of navigation.»
